Cotton Ari Chain Stitch Embroidery Runner

The flower motif is embroidered on top of the runner using various colors. Designed by artisans of Kashmir in India on a white thick cotton base using wool threads. This unique chain stitch (Ari) embroidery is done using hooked needles.  Kashmir region of India has an old tradition of beautiful handcrafted items and this runner is a fine example of that.
